Welcome
to The Ripley Cricket Club Website. Here you can find all about cricket
in Ripley.
In the 2008 season
we will be running 5 senior sides (3 on Saturday and
2 on Sunday) and 7 youth sides ranging from under 9s
up to under 17s (catering for boys and girls).
Our Saturday senior
sides are all in the Fullers Surrey County League. Our Sunday 1sts are
in the Surrey Trust League (pyjama cricket) with our Sunday 2nds playing
social cricket throughout the season. Our Youth sides compete in the West
Surrey Youth Cricket League and also play friendlies.
The 2007 season was
not the best for Ripley Cricket Club, with our Saturday 1s and 2s being
relegated. The Saturday 3rds continued to develop the youth of Ripley
Cricket Club.
On the colts side
of Ripley Cricket the under 17s had an impressive season by beating Valley
End to win their league for the first time in Ripley's history. The Ripley
colts again entered 3 teams in the indoor Cricket tournament at Burpham
Cricket Centre.
