Hi, I'm researching a web site on old boys of Woking Grammar who gave their lives in WW2. I have info that Harry Parrott turned out for Ripley before the war. Does anyone have any info or a photo of him?
Thanks.

Sammy has left us for pastures new (Esher) and Biffa is doing a sterling job as captain (crawl, bumlick, crawl). I will inform the lads this Saturday that the Aussie contingent is demanding a win. Might be just the motivation we need... or perhaps we need to catch, take some more wickets and get more runs!

Also if someone could get Sampat to contact me on this email address as he might have a nice offer on the table to come down under and play a high level of cricket.

There is also a players meeting on the Friday 22nd April and the first game of the season is on the 30th April. Come along to any of those and introduce yourself, If not turn up on any weekend after that or I believe that training is on a Wednesday evening.

fair play to ripley cc for looking to the future ( which they have had to) but they still need to shed the skippers favourites and play people who can help the teams develop, and improve. rather than chasing there tails, and that is at all levels, coming from avoice of ripley experience for nearly 15 years!!!

I see that the East Keilor oldies (Hacks and Butters) are not contributing to your club's efforts this year. You now have a true master of the bat, Andrew ("Stumpy") Murden from Keilor Park instead. Good choice and great value boys. One word of warning though - he thinks he can bowl. Don't go there!!!

Also, what's with the new logo? Don't you guys have any sense of tradition? You can't go changing these things willy nilly every 255 years!
